Responsibilities
- Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
- Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper setup in stores.
- Conduct fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
- Collaborate with inspectors and engineers to establish reliability recommendations.
- Perform root cause failure analyses and document corrective actions.
- Develop project request forms for reliability improvements and manage improvement plans.
- Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring specifications are followed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
- 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in heavy industry.
- Knowledge of API 579 Fitness for Service and applicable industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in the field and wear appropriate PPE.
- Clean and valid driver's license; authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Availability for on-call support during off hours and weekends.
