Responsibilities

  • Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
  • Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper setup in stores.
  • Conduct fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
  • Collaborate with inspectors and engineers to establish reliability recommendations.
  • Perform root cause failure analyses and document corrective actions.
  • Develop project request forms for reliability improvements and manage improvement plans.
  • Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring specifications are followed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
  • 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of API 579 Fitness for Service and applicable industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in the field and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Clean and valid driver's license; authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Availability for on-call support during off hours and weekends.
