Responsibilities
- Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
- Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper equipment setup in stores.
- Perform fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
- Collaborate with inspectors and engineers to establish reliability recommendations.
- Conduct root cause failure analyses and document findings.
- Develop project requests for reliability improvements and manage improvement plans.
- Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in heavy industry.
- Knowledge of API 579 and relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in the field and meet PPE requirements.
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without future VISA sponsorship.
