Responsibilities

  • Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
  • Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper equipment setup in stores.
  • Perform fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
  • Collaborate with inspectors and engineers to establish reliability recommendations.
  • Conduct root cause failure analyses and document findings.
  • Develop project requests for reliability improvements and manage improvement plans.
  • Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of API 579 and relevant industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in the field and meet PPE requirements.
  • Clean and valid driver’s license.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without future VISA sponsorship.
