Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for new product development.
- Work with design engineers to ensure quality and reliability while maintaining ease of manufacturing/assembly.
- Review detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for accuracy and tolerances.
- Determine parts, equipment, and tools needed for manufacturing goals.
- Design tooling and fixturing for production and quality control.
- Develop and optimize process flow and work instructions.
- Support low volume production to ensure process plans and targets are met for quality, safety, efficiency, and cost.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
- US Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations.
- Experience in design of production tooling/fixtures.
- Knowledge of various fabrication/manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding).
- Familiarity with DFM and GD&T principles.
- Ability to analyze layout of equipment and workflow for production efficiency.
