Responsibilities
- Lead the selection, sizing, and configuration of industrial grid-interactive off-the-shelf inverters.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex hardware issues in the field and lab.
- Configure and tune inverter parameters for stable operation.
- Design system-level tests to validate grid-edge behaviors.
- Analyze AC power waveforms and power quality to diagnose system issues.
- Ensure compliance with grid interconnection standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with power inverters or conversion systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with AC power systems.
- Comfort working on high voltage systems in diverse environments.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols for power electronics control.
- Working knowledge of NEC regarding power generation systems.
- Ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
