Responsibilities
- Apply aerospace standard practices in the design of electric aircraft powertrain assemblies.
- Conduct trade studies on design and manufacturing options.
- Produce complete design packages, including drawings and analysis reports.
- Review designs and manufacturing plans for compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate with departments during hardware delivery and operations.
- Lead resolution of technical problems with cross-functional teams.
- Develop understanding of technical and certification requirements for electric powertrains.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Practical experience with 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS) and PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T standards.
- Technical knowledge of electric machine design or high voltage battery packaging is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
