Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to refine product designs and improve market readiness.
- Brainstorm and evaluate design solutions and conduct physical tests.
- Design high-performance mechanical parts and assemblies for manufacturing.
- Create and review technical drawings and specifications.
- Manage bills of materials and oversee vendor interactions.
- Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
- Support prototypes and production through direct collaboration with manufacturers.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in 3D Modeling software (e.g., Onshape, NX, Solidworks).
- Knowledge of 2D Drawing creation and GD&T.
- Proficiency in design analysis methods (e.g., FEA, Tolerance Analysis).
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment and troubleshooting.
- Experience with mechanical components and test fixtures.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to generate detailed design documentation and work instructions.
