Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to improve product impact and reliability.
- Brainstorm and evaluate design solutions.
- Test ideas and designs through calculations and simulations.
- Design reliable, manufacturable parts and assemblies.
- Manage bills of materials and vendor relations.
- Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
- Support prototypes and production with manufacturers.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in 3D Modeling software (e.g., Onshape, NX, Solidworks).
- Knowledge of PCBA Bed of Nails fixture design and 2D Drawing creation.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment and electromechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience with mechanical components for high cycle count and fine pitch assemblies.
- Prototyping skills using various fabrication techniques.
- Ability to generate detailed design documentation and work instructions.
- Experience communicating with component suppliers and managing production processes.
