Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, and document new aircraft lighting products and systems.
- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of projects using engineering principles and aviation standards.
- Document technical data according to engineering policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement tools and methods to improve quality and productivity.
- Apply advanced techniques to solve complex problems.
- Identify and resolve defects in products using engineering tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure product excellence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience with structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis.
- Experience in electrical/electronics packaging design.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD systems such as ANSYS, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, SolidEdge.
- Knowledge of total quality, lean manufacturing, and design for manufacturability.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
