Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and documentation of mechanical components and systems.
- Solve complex design challenges using engineering principles and analysis techniques.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in accordance with engineering policies.
- Identify and implement new tools and processes to improve quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for product excellence.
- Conduct structural, thermal, and tolerance analyses for product reliability.
- Detect and resolve defects using engineering tools and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as ANSYS, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, or SolidEdge.
- Knowledge of total quality, lean manufacturing, and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with LED lighting, RTCA DO-160 standards, and electro-mechanical drivetrains is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
