Responsibilities
- Identify and correct production issues and implement process improvements.
- Execute process changes to enhance safety, quality, ergonomics, and speed of assembly.
- Triage electromechanical issues on the production floor and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and determine material disposition for nonconforming items.
- Execute design changes and documentation updates using CAD best practices.
- Develop and document SOPs for manufacturing processes, including assembly instructions.
- Design, build, and evaluate jigs and fixtures to improve assembly tasks.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling best practices (OnShape or Solidworks).
- Experience with product lifecycle management systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and testing/validation.
- Excellent written and graphical communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, etc.).
- Bonus: Experience in ISO 9001 quality systems or regulated industries.
