Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the manufacturing roadmap balancing speed, cost, and quality.
- Build, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Define, track, and report key production metrics to leadership.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams for design-for-manufacturability.
- Manage supplier relationships and mitigate risks to ensure quality and cost control.
- Oversee the manufacturing budget, including headcount planning and operational costs.
- Plan for future growth in production capacity and team size.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and operations, including leadership roles.
- Experience scaling manufacturing teams and processes in a startup or growth-stage company.
- Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on problem-solving.
- Proven track record of hiring exceptional talent.
- Experience in an ISO 9001 quality system or regulated industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Bonus points for experience with electromechanical products and lean manufacturing.
