Responsibilities
- Manage and scale the Application Engineering team, including recruiting and onboarding.
- Become a subject matter expert in Lumafield’s hardware and Voyager software.
- Establish and improve technical operations and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the product roadmap.
- Define and report on team-level KPIs for performance measurement.
- Cultivate rigorous engineering standards and rapid problem-solving.
- Advise customers and develop custom technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in direct people management.
- Proven background in solutions or application engineering in customer-facing roles.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, quality control, or industrial automation.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in developing individual development plans for team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage complex technical challenges.
