Engineering Intern, R&D

The Engineering Intern, R&D role involves working on the core technology for novel CT scanners, conducting experiments, analyzing test data, and creating prototypes for hardware and software features.

• Work on the core technology for CT scanners
• Design and conduct experiments and simulations
• Analyze test data to characterize performance and troubleshoot issues
• Create working prototypes for new hardware and software features
• Convert scientific understanding into customer features
• Collaborate closely with a mentor on the R&D team
• Work in the Cambridge, MA office

• Currently studying for an engineering or physics degree
• Experience with Python and/or MATLAB
• Strong technical thinking skills
• Curiosity about how things work
• Passion for troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues
• Enjoyment of collaboration within teams
• Quick learner in new fields of study
