Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze quotations from suppliers to develop sourcing recommendations.
- Maintain and leverage supplier relationships as the main point of contact.
- Negotiate contracts for maximum commercial advantage.
- Develop commodity strategies for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with finance to address price fluctuations in contracts.
- Ensure policy and environmental compliance in the supply chain.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience or a Master's degree.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience sourcing battery raw materials.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and ERP systems.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA or experience in battery recycling.
