Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage global suppliers for mechanical components.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams on mechanical component requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for manufacturability and quality of components.
- Develop supply chain strategies for timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Conduct supplier assessments and implement process improvements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and manage commercial issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance; Masters preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- Experience with mechanical components in electrical control units.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word, JIRA, Confluence, ERP systems.
- Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and resolve disputes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
