Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze supplier quotations for sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts related to parts pricing and tooling costs.
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines for production.
- Maintain supplier relationships and act as the contact for commercial issues.
- Travel 15-25% to perform business and program reviews with suppliers.
- Summarize sourcing status and parts availability for internal reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering related to electronics.
- Experience in sourcing PCB/PCBA and electronic components.
- Understanding of quality principles and product development processes.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in relevant software tools and ERP systems.
