Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers.
- Create and issue RFQs, negotiate with suppliers, and develop strategic sourcing and business recommendations.
- Negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing and tooling costs.
- Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production.
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, ensuring part availability.
- Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as the point of contact for all commercial issues.
- Achieve BOM cost reductions through negotiation and resourcing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, or Engineering in Interior Cockpit.
- Extensive experience in sourcing interior commodities like Instrument Panels and Door Panels.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, ERP & P2P systems.
- Product launch experience preferred with knowledge of quality principles and data analysis.
