Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and analyze quotations from suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts including pricing and tooling costs.
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and handle commercial issues.
- Travel to suppliers for business and program reviews.
- Support cross-functional teams during product development phases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering, preferably in stamping and metals.
- Understanding of body design and experience in sourcing relevant commodities.
- Product launch experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and resolve disputes.
