Responsibilities
- Lead investigation of continuous improvement activities for high voltage electro-mechanical systems.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate actions between design, manufacturing, quality, and production teams.
- Identify and implement Design-For-Assembly and cost savings activities.
- Utilize metrology and laboratory equipment for root cause analysis.
- Write test plans and design test fixtures.
- Follow through on implementation of solutions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in root cause analysis (8D, fishbone diagrams, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with shop tools and prototyping.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding and die casting.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred).
- Experience with automotive electric propulsion systems.
- Strong data analysis skills, including MATLAB, and strong 3D CAD skills (CATIA or similar).
