Responsibilities
- Lead the roadmap, architecture, design, validation, and lifecycle management of low voltage Electronic Control Units and devices.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with vehicle teams from concept through production ramp.
- Oversee design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) initiatives.
- Co-own relationships with external contract manufacturers and development partners.
- Define and implement engineering best practices for automotive electronics.
- Lead failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and develop a high-performing global team of engineers and professionals.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in electronics hardware and mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of low voltage systems, power electronics, and communication protocols.
- Proven experience in taking automotive ECUs from concept to mass production.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including SMT and soldering techniques.
- Experience managing multi-site teams and global supplier networks.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
