Responsibilities
- Manage a team of advanced manufacturing engineers throughout all stages of capital projects.
- Lead technical efforts in complex equipment engineering development including feasibility and design for manufacturing.
- Understand manufacturing processes and equipment requirements for Powertrain components.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to specify and execute CAPEX equipment.
- Implement engineering solutions on manufacturing equipment based on product design changes.
- Report on project deliverables and escalations.
- Utilize 3D modeling and simulations to validate equipment designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in Powertrain E-Motor Equipment/Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
- Experience with robotics, automation, and various manufacturing equipment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills with knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, DOE or similar disciplines.
- Familiarity with equipment control systems and basic machine coding logic.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, Delmia, and GD&T.
