Responsibilities
- Create production routers, BOMs, and manufacturing control instructions.
- Design and develop tooling, fixture, and small-scale automation solutions.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria.
- Develop long-term cost reduction projects for optimization.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on product/process failures.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure product details are met.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- 5+ years in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma process improvement tools.
- Proficiency in GD&T and problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of CAD software and MRP manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification in IPC-610, IPC-620, or J-STD-001 is preferred.
