Responsibilities
- Support DFM for new BIW and closures products ensuring manufacturability.
- Optimize processes using DFM during product design and equipment engineering.
- Assist in simultaneous engineering for closures and equipment design reviews.
- Conduct high-level studies for proposed product designs, including CAPEX and OPEX impacts.
- Drive technical efforts of teams in complex equipment engineering development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on all stages of Body in White line development.
- Utilize analytic problem-solving skills and knowledge of methodologies like 8D and Six Sigma.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Body in White Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with DFM and process design.
- Must have experience in automotive Body in White equipment design.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, and Delmia.
- Experience with Process Simulate is a plus.
