Responsibilities
- Prepares workplans, drawings, safety guidelines, and specifications.
- Reviews and analyzes data, specifications, and blueprints; negotiates changes with vendors.
- Coordinates with technical consultants and oversees contractor/consultant work.
- Prepares technical reports, feasibility studies, and economic analysis.
- Inspects completed work and coordinates services with outside agencies.
- Writes Scope of Work (SOW) for projects and responds to service requests.
- Provides guidance to new or entry-level employees in operating engineering systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Three years of relevant engineering experience.
- State of California registration as a Professional Engineer desirable.
- Valid California Class C Driver License.
- Experience analyzing data and preparing technical reports.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and applicable laws and regulations.
- Proficient in software applications related to engineering, such as AutoCAD.
