Responsibilities
- Manage and support assigned suppliers to ensure quality performance.
- Identify trends and monitor supplier processes to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
- Interface with suppliers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), production sites, customers, and program management.
- Support Material Review Boards (MRBs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to disposition nonconforming hardware.
- Conduct scheduled product source inspections, first article inspections, and surveillance assessments.
- Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- STEM degree at the bachelor level or higher.
- Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements or PPAP.
- Thorough knowledge of quality systems such as ISO and aerospace standards.
- Experience in making risk-based data-driven decisions.
- Advanced understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel at least 20%.
