Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, test procedures, and schematics for mechanical tests on the Orion spacecraft.
- Learn the Orion spacecraft assembly, integration, and test flow, including test execution and anomaly resolution.
- Execute test procedures on current flight articles and future vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members across various disciplines, including systems engineering and manufacturing.
- Conduct acceptance testing, environmental testing, and ground servicing of flight hardware.
- Support test activities primarily at Kennedy Space Center and other locations as needed.
- Work with structural, environmental, or pneumatic testing and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment.
Job Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
- Familiarity with fluid systems and mechanical structures.
- Experience or knowledge in mechanical testing and integration.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to support testing efforts at various locations.
- Understanding of aerospace engineering principles is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
