Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of Class 3 & PPE equipment for the FBM Program.
- Ensure project completion with the proper technical pedigree.
- Interface with internal and external customers to support project success.
- Support proposal efforts for Class 3 projects.
- Collaborate with FBM Hardware Leads to adhere to requirements.
- Identify efficiencies and drive process improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support procurement activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with the entire project life cycle from proposal to sustainment.
- Knowledge of engineering design tools (CREO, CAD, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Project management experience and manufacturing knowledge are preferred.
