Responsibilities
- Support development and production of safety critical flightworthy electronic hardware.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers on schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings for flightworthy products and test equipment.
- Work closely with embedded electrical/electronics engineers and test engineers.
- Develop and verify flightworthy safety critical electronic chassis, harnesses, and circuit cards.
- Improve team processes and toolsets for better efficiency.
- Help reduce costs and schedules for developing fully qualified flightworthy electronics.
Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in electronic hardware design.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining engineering drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety critical product development processes.
- Familiarity with test equipment development and qualification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset.
- Experience with flightworthy electronic hardware is a plus.
