Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D engineering drawings and solid models.
- Develop mechanical design solutions of varying complexity.
- Review requirements to ensure they are incorporated into product design.
- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and technical management.
- Drive completion of program achievements with accurate engineering designs.
- Engage in business capture activities for future programs.
- Maintain compliance with security clearance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience with ASME Y14.5 and GD&T.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools.
- Hands-on hardware experience and knowledge of additive manufacturing.
- Strong collaboration skills with adjacent engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of stress, propulsion, and electrical design/analysis.
