Mechanical Design Engineer Staff

The Mechanical Design Engineer Staff will lead the mechanical design and development of a demonstration booster assembly for the Advanced Programs group, focusing on high-speed payload propulsion and clean separation.

• Lead mechanical design and development of the demonstration booster assembly
• Design a separation system
• Coordinate with team members on concept design and development
• Support demonstration test vehicle configuration documentation, assembly, and integration
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers
• Manage Creo design and modeling tasks
• Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Experience with mechanical design engineering
• Proficiency in Creo design and modeling
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering disciplines and suppliers
• Experience in rocket assembly technology development
• Leadership experience in engineering projects
