Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements to ensure they are incorporated into the design.
- Collaborate with peers and manufacturing to meet program requirements and schedules.
- Release accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Perform engineering liaison activities during hardware fabrication and procurement.
- Provide technical assistance to suppliers and support assembly and testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (PTC Creo, NX, Solid Works).
- Experience with GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Experience with mechanical product design and lifecycle.
- Willingness to travel for technical assistance and support.
