Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design solutions using solid models and detailed drawings.
- Review requirements from various sources to ensure they are incorporated into the design.
- Collaborate with peers and manufacturing to meet program requirements.
- Release accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Perform engineering liaison activities during hardware fabrication and procurement.
- Provide technical assistance to suppliers and support assembly and testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards and federal regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with engineering CAD tools (PTC Creo, NX, Solid Works, etc.).
- Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Willingness to travel for engineering support.
