Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for HVAC systems, including programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and construction managers.
- Develop and implement sequences of operation for HVAC systems, including temperature control, humidity control, and air quality control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems.
- Conduct site visits to inspect and test control systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, test reports, and operation manuals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in control systems and HVAC technology.
Job Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating electrical system designs.
- Understanding of control systems, including programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, and SCADA.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including ASHRAE and local building codes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to conduct site visits for inspections and testing.
- Strong communication skills for documentation and reporting.
