Responsibilities
- Assists in the research, design, and development of manufacturing processes.
- Coordinates and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
- Manages the manufacturing launch of new/revised products.
- Conducts analysis and testing of tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
- Identifies parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals.
- Performs tool design (fixtures) using CAD applications.
- Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Computer Assisted Design (CAD).
- Strong technical math skills and ability to analyze data.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing.
