Responsibilities
- Set the engineering roadmap for ASP Engineering, including objectives and platform priorities.
- Define and drive a unified platform architecture across hardware, automation, and systems engineering.
- Implement efficient processes for lifecycle management and deployment of autonomous laboratories.
- Develop a repeatable deployment model for global AI Science Factory sites.
- Create a culture of mentorship to support engineering execution and career development.
- Partner with Robotics and Software to build and scale autonomous labs.
- Collaborate with external partners to expand engineering capacity.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in building lab automation systems.
- 10+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven record of scaling automated labs or manufacturing-like operations.
- Experience integrating AI/ML into engineering and operations.
- Technical expertise in lab automation, controls, and science instrumentation.
- Strong leadership skills in recruiting and developing managers and engineers.
- Excellence in maintaining cultural and technical standards across multiple sites.
