Responsibilities
- Integrate and program robotic arms for lab automation.
- Design motion sequences for production, focusing on collision avoidance and path planning.
- Debug robotic failures, including calibration drift and software timing issues.
- Evaluate and deploy new robotic solutions as needed.
- Work across the engineering stack, from low-level motion control to high-level orchestration.
- Optimize pick-and-place sequences on robotic platforms.
- Champion engineering challenges and contribute to team growth.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with multi-axis robotic arms, including programming and debugging.
- Understanding of kinematics, motion planning, and coordinate transforms.
- Programming skills in Python, C/C++, or similar for motion control.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a proactive approach.
- Bonus points for experience with specific robotic arms and motion control techniques.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and troubleshooting methods.
