Responsibilities
- Develop equipment specifications and performance requirements for integrating machinery into manufacturing processes.
- Transition products from development to production while ensuring quality and cost expectations are met.
- Create and validate manufacturing processes for new products through pilot runs.
- Define and maintain end-of-line product testing and implement solutions for testing issues.
- Assist production teams with process-related problems and provide assembly support.
- Contribute to new product teams to ensure timely market introduction while maintaining quality.
- Analyze and recommend changes to product design for improved manufacturability and cost reduction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for cost analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coordinate product design discussions.
- Experience with quality tools such as statistical process control.
- Knowledge of fiber optics and software tools preferred.
