Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for LED luminaires and lighting products.
- Select LED-LED driver combinations for light systems.
- Utilize Altium or similar PCB/hardware design software.
- Conduct thermal analysis using CAD tools (Inventor, Pro/E, Solidworks).
- Test prototypes and integrated systems as part of the development process.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot field problems and support existing products through engineering change requests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in new product development or sustaining engineering.
- Familiarity with analog design simulation tools and failure analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
- Knowledge of lighting certification standards (e.g., UL, ETL, CSA).
