Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory functional tests of new Readout ICs.
- Perform laboratory characterization of Readout ICs and Focal Plane Arrays (FPAs).
- Analyze data and generate reports.
- Document design, verification, and testing processes.
- Support limited scope IC design and testing under the supervision of engineers.
- Utilize data analysis software for performance analysis.
- Gain familiarity with engineering staff, methods, and practices.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate or Master's degree in Physics or Engineering with a minimum of 3rd Year status.
- Must maintain a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Availability to work part-time (<30 hours/week) from Summer through Fall 2025.
- U.S. Citizenship required for access to US only data systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuit design and semiconductor processes.
- Experience with test lab equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, Logic Analyzer).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
