Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure design compliance with all project requirements, including customer specifications and internal standards.
- Balance technical decisions with cost, schedule, and risk.
- Coordinate and support lab-based testing as needed (e.g., EMI, shock, vibration, and temperature).
- Provide accurate input into project budgets, estimates, and schedules for assigned efforts.
- Participate in proposal development for complex or strategic efforts.
- Drive resolution of roadblocks and make informed decisions in areas of ambiguity or conflict.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across engineering, program management, and operations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance as needed, which requires US Citizenship.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools is preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is preferred.
