Responsibilities
- Operate various types of manufacturing equipment for experiments and material growth.
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists regarding components and processes.
- Perform assembly tasks including testing, modifying, and building electronic or mechanical assemblies.
- Execute tasks based on documentation such as wiring drawings and engineering specifications.
- Involve in designing and testing prototype assemblies and production units.
- Follow safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient information and material flow.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program or two-year master's program in relevant engineering fields.
- Status as a Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to support a 40-hour per week onsite schedule.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience with small delicate components and ESD practices.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Access, Excel, LabVIEW, and CAD.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and experience with MRP systems is a plus.
