Responsibilities
- Operate various types of manufacturing and process equipment.
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists.
- Perform assembly tasks, including testing and modifying electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Execute tasks based on documentation and engineering specifications.
- Participate in designing and testing prototype assemblies.
- Follow safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Junior or Senior status with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to support a 15-20 hours per week onsite schedule.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience with delicate components and ESD practices.
- Proficiency in computer applications like Access, Excel, LabVIEW, and CAD.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and MRP systems is a plus.
