Responsibilities
- Operate various types of manufacturing and process equipment.
- Provide technical support to engineers and scientists.
- Perform assembly tasks including testing and modifying electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Work from documentation such as wiring and assembly drawings.
- Involve in designing and testing prototype assemblies and production units.
- Follow safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year or two-year master's program in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Status as a Junior or Senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to support a 15-20 hours per week onsite schedule.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience with small delicate components and ESD practices.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Access, Excel, LabVIEW, and CAD.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and experience with MRP systems is a plus.
