Responsibilities
- Assist in the commissioning of the synchronous condenser.
- Oversee and optimize balance of plant systems (cooling, lubrication, electrical, HVAC, control).
- Monitor ongoing reliability and address issues for the synchronous condenser.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance or failure issues.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Ensure systems align with reliability and performance standards.
Job Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or relevant experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability engineering focused on rotating machinery.
- Willingness to travel to West Texas for project support.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning and optimizing synchronous condensers.
- Experience with balance of plant systems in power generation or manufacturing.
- Valid driver's license.
