Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of progressively responsible engineering assignments involving electrical engineering and power system principles.
- Conduct complex power flow analysis to support outage planning for major transmission projects.
- Gain hands-on experience with industry tools such as PSSE, PowerWorld, and Energy Management Systems.
- Assist in developing tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance operational awareness.
- Receive mentorship from licensed professional engineers with expertise in transmission operations and planning.
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in junior year or has completed junior year and will be starting senior year.
- Completed coursework in power systems adjacent courses is preferred.
- Experience developing automation or custom software is a plus.
