Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design, analysis, and evaluation of Mechatronics products.
- Collaborate with firmware/controls resources and cross-functional teams.
- Engage in rapid prototyping and hands-on work in the Mechatronics lab.
- Work with suppliers to meet performance and cost objectives.
- Drive technical innovation and file invention disclosures.
- Develop test criteria and equipment for automated testing.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement continual improvement processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering; Master’s degree or 3 years of experience for level 2.
- Strong design background and engineering skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., CREO, NX).
- Experience with modeling analyses using FEA applications.
- Familiarity with machining practices and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
