Specialist Quality Engineer

The Specialist Quality Engineer will oversee training and certification of personnel in soldering, crimping, wire-wrap, and HAZMAT processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards while also conducting inspections and providing technical support for projects related to the Strategic Systems Programs.

• Refine, coordinate, and implement the Workmanship Skills Training and Certification program.
• Conduct IPC certification courses and ensure adherence to workmanship standards.
• Develop training materials based on organizational needs.
• Perform internal audits to ensure process adherence.
• Provide technical support for complex electronic systems.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers on workmanship standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of related experience or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD secret security clearance.
• Experience with HAZMAT programs and auditing.
• Familiarity with Circuit Card Assembly and cable manufacturing processes.
