Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and other engineers to coordinate project requirements and communicate status.
- Lead projects to design embedded hardware and software/firmware controls.
- Estimate, negotiate, monitor, and report on design and development schedules.
- Create documentation using various tools for production.
- Conduct research and development for embedded control systems and automated testing.
- Build and test prototypes of integrated hardware/firmware control systems.
- Oversee special projects, including purchasing materials and coordinating validation testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with LabView, C#, or Python.
- Proficient in troubleshooting control system issues.
- Experience with software/firmware development on embedded micro-controller systems.
- Preferred experience with FPGA and RTOS.
- Strong communication skills for both written and verbal presentations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
