Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and other engineers on project requirements and status communication.
- Lead projects for designing embedded hardware and software/firmware controls.
- Estimate, negotiate, monitor, and report on integrated design and development schedules.
- Create production documentation using engineering CAD and production review tools.
- Conduct research and development for embedded control systems and automated testing.
- Build and test prototypes of integrated hardware/firmware control systems.
- Oversee special projects, coordinating validation testing in a production environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with LabView, C#, or Python.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting control system issues.
- Experience in embedded micro-controller system software/firmware development.
- Knowledge of FPGA and RTOS.
- Ability to establish rapport and develop relationships effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and concepts.
