Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory support.
- Translate product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans.
- Execute verification testing based on mechanical specifications.
- Conduct design analysis and testing to meet customer requirements.
- Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Work with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation.
- Support installation coordination for aircraft structures and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Ability to relocate every 12 months during the program.
- Exposure to CAD or analysis tools, and experience in mechanical design.
- Knowledge of structural mechanics and ability to apply engineering principles.
- Familiarity with programming and finite element methods is preferred.
- Must be eligible for a security clearance.
