Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital circuit schematics using Mentor PADS.
- Select electronic components based on electrical requirements, cost, and availability.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs and test reports.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers and cross-functional teams for product integration.
- Develop test procedures and validate electrical performance through simulation and testing.
- Interface with vendors and suppliers to support PCB fabrication and assembly.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with standards.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of experience with hardware development and PCB design.
- Proficiency in Mentor PADS schematic design tools and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and power systems.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Knowledge of North American and international industry standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC, IEC).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
