Responsibilities
- Produce PCB designs and schematics.
- Work closely with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
- Characterize and test full PCB systems in collaboration with FPGA and firmware engineers.
- Produce electrical system designs and interconnection diagrams.
- Ensure designs meet serviceability requirements.
- Familiarity with AC power distribution and other electronic components.
- Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary teamwork.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Related work experience of 0-5 years based on degree.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (OrCAD, Altium, PADS, Eagle).
- Experience with electronic blocks like power supply regulators and ADCs/DACs.
- Knowledge of safety interlocks and supporting hardware.
- Skills in programmable logic controllers and cabling design.
- Ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams.
