Responsibilities
- Investigate the latest precision machining and metrology technologies.
- Utilize Lean Tools for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Develop and document new manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including machinists and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; Master's is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of experience in precision machining and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and machining processes for Swiss turning.
- Solid modeling or 3D CAD proficiency (e.g., Solidworks, Creo).
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for technical information dissemination.
