Responsibilities
- Investigate latest precision machining and metrology technologies.
- Utilize Lean Tools to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Develop and document new manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including machinists and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in precision machining and manufacturing design.
- Proficiency in Swiss turning operations and CNC programming.
- Solid modeling or 3D CAD proficiency (e.g., Solidworks, Creo).
- Knowledge of GD&T standards.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
